Since 2013, Mike has worked as a music instructor, producer, studio engineer, and musician. Mike is available for guitar, bass, and drum lessons. He also produces bands and artists ranging from country and jazz to hip hop and metal, serving the entire Greater Rochester area. If you're looking how to learn how to play an instrument or improve on skills you already have, Greg offers one-on-one classes in drums, percussion, keyboard, harmonica, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, guitar, and bass. Greg has been playing music since high school, as a member of Bishop Kearney's marching band and a band called the Subways. After high school, Greg was active in the local music scene as parts of The Boogie Men, Hip Pocket, and End of Pain.
In the early 1980s, Greg became a studio engineer. Shortly after, he began traveling the country with Steam Heat. From there, the band went international and did a three month tour of Europe. In the late 1980s, Greg founded Pretty Words, playing mostly in the Southwest US and San Diego, and wrote most of the band's original songs.
Fast forward to today, Greg spends his days teaching private music lessons to people of all ages and playing in the Brian Lindsay Band, Anonymous Will Power, and In the Mix. If you're looking for a teacher with extensive music knowledge and experience, Greg's your perfect match!
