Hello! I'm Connor, the general manager and predominant instructor at Good Vibes, I specialize in getting beginners playing their first songs and getting them interested in progressing their skills as a musician. As an instructor i prioritize nourishing creativity and the enjoyment of music as an art over a competitive sport, my main goal is to get you playing your favorite songs as quick as possible through understanding fundamental principles before delving into nitty gritty things, like time signatures and theory. While i believe those are incredibly important things for intermediate to advanced players to understand, i think the way you get beginners to that point is by showing them the joy of being able to play songs they love, as soon as possible. I've played drums for 10 years and guitar & bass for 8, i've done live sound at local shows and performed at events and local parties since i was 17, i've also been refining my ability to independently produce and record material as well so i'm more than capable of guiding you through your first 10 years as a musician.
